First NAUTOR`S SWAN 105 has been launched

The Finish sailing yacht builder Nautor`s has been launched the first Swan 105. The high performance cruiser is based on a unique concept of cruising and is built according to the individual wishes of the owner.

Great attention was paid to the easy handling of the yacht, which has been launched in Septemer of 2014. The owner wants to sail his Swan with a small crew - a furling mainsail and a self-tacking jib allow him a 105ft single handing in light wind areas at best performance. Furthermore, an own crew cockpit positioned in front of the mast saves the privacy of the large main cockpit. All operational and technical needs of this yacht are tailored to the demands of the experienced owner.

The deck-saloon has a real comfortable living space character and can also come up with a full steering position with access to the side deck. The spacious cockpit offers a dining and lounge area which is sun protected by a hard top.

Extraordinary transom concept with panoramic view
One of the highlights is the owner`s cabin at the stern with a large panoramic sliding door and direct access to the swimming platform. We can only look forward to the breathtaking views. To provide space for this solution the dinghy is placed in a recess on the foredeck.

With the Swan 105 Nautor realized a concept of Beiderbeck Designs, which was also responsible for the detailed planning of the yacht. Hull lines and naval architecture are developed with well known German Frers. The decision for the Nautor shipyard has the owner taken after extensive research and intensive preliminary talks with Nautor's Swan Germany. It was crucial that the yard has an unrivalled experience in the realization of such large projects over 90ft. The combination of sailing performance, comfort, safety and the feeling for customer needs makes the success of Nautor's Swan.

The SWAN 105 is a finalist at theWorld Superyacht Awards.
